What Other Tea Professionals Say

The NW Tea Festival has been transformative for our business. It was the first opportunity for us to showcase our teas outside our small Oregon town, and the first time we were so nervous! However, we had nothing to worry about -- it was an incredible experience the first time and has been every time since. The festival introduced us to a much larger market, and many people we met at the festival have become loyal customers. Equally important, it connected us with the larger tea community; getting to know the other vendors has helped us feel a part of a much larger movement. It also gave us the confidence to present ourselves and our teas; pouring tea for thousands of people over two days forced us to refine how we talk about our teas and we've used the "dress rehearsals" from the festival in conversations with other buyers since. And finally, it boosted our sales just as the Holiday season was picking up.

For those reasons, we've been proud and honored to participate in the NW Tea Festival for the last five years. It's a major highlight for our year and we're excited to return this year and next. More broadly, we've found that tea festivals help all of us lovers of the leaf connect, share, and inspire each other.
